{i love family visits, dislike april weather}

this PMS weather here in utah is starting to really bug me! at least though, we had a very nice warm weekend... okay so that made up for a lot of the crappy weather that we have been having lately. note to self, april weather sucks! if you're in utah that is.
so this past weekend kasey and i had decided to spend as much time as we could outside.
did repairs on the fence line at grandpa bonds farm... yeah i know how to use a back hoe and tractor.
then i put kasey to work on our own yard and planted two new aspens plus an array of plants and flowers from our summer hang out, home depot...
played a round of golf at forest dale. i must say, it took a while to get back in to it after a long winter and with it having been the nicest weekend so far this year they were completely over booked... we spent so much time sitting around waiting for a clear fairway etc... 9 holes took 3 hours and i ended up 10 over. you just can't get into it when you end up sitting around cooling off.
but the best part of the weekend...
was the visit that we had from my cousin
denae, ben and little taj.
it was so much fun... it had been over 4 years since i had seen them and they were out here from st. louis, mo... i miss them...
we went to sugarhouse bbq... mmmm! i love that place... if you are ever in the the area you gotta try it!
look at this little ham! he was such a pleasant little kid (until it came time to put pj's on) and kasey just ate him up! and denae, i love that he says tractor and cankels!
when we were at the our house later the night he was so attached to jords little stroller... he had put all his cars and 'tractors' in it and was just pushing all over the house! i loved it!

I am so impressed with your tractor and back hoe skills; very impressive!…actually I can totally picture you on a tractor for some reason. Don’t worry, the weather here has been off and on too. It can’t seem to make up its mind whether it wants to be sunny cloudy or rainy. Fun! I want to come for a visit! I wish you were coming out before we leave in June. I guess will just have to make a trip out to Utah in-between the time neither of us knows what we are doing with our lives. We will try and pencil you in =o)

Awwww, now I miss Denae. Looks like you guys had a nice visit. Its a good thing Taj knows the word cankles - that way he can identify his aunt Betsy when he sees me next. Haha. You know I wasn't sold on Sugarhouse BBQ. I'd rather have Goodwood.

That weather actually sounds kind of pleasing to a fato prego lady where here yesterday it was 98 degrees, and Eugenes parents who we are crashing with at this moment in time dont believe in AC nor do they have many fans in their house, yuck!!
That BBQ sounds good right now though, and your weekend sounds like a blast.

We miss you guys already! Honesty we had so, so much fun with you guys. Wish we could have spent so much more time there. When are you coming to visit us though??? We're big Casey fans. And Ben is so overjoyed with his safety glasses... honestly he keeps bragging about them. A bit of a loser, really.
Those pictures turned out so cute. Sad my husband had to ruin the one! I'll just copy them off of your blog, okay?
Thanks for the blog!!!

PMS Weather that is too funny! I remember growing up in Utah and the weather does get rather Moody this time of year!

Just thought I'd say hi, and that we're sure learning a lesson in patience waiting for nice weather to stick around. PMS... clever, but not funny yet.

April weather is the worst, worst, worst! It snowed up here a couple of times this week already! Every time it does, Islay says "Oh, poor Daddy." Hopefully May will be better.
