{chores can be fun}

ever weekend jord has her list of chores. they usually consist of the same old things everytime such as make bed, pick up toys, dust living room, fold towels and pair socks and now since it has been a bit warmer out side, water the flowers... to earn something out of the bag... i'm not even going to attempt the money thing again until she is older.
on saturday while she was out water the flowers i noticed that she was watering the neighbors flowers, not ours! she said that she had to start with the 'roses'...
so then she went over and recruited her friends nico and mim to help her do our yard before the started to decorate the drive way with chalk and paint. needless to say, the whole drive was covered... until the sprinklers came on...

Cute girl! Good job with the chores! I always forget to give Islay $$ for her chores - I need to be better about that.
The weather has been better lately! We were able to be outside this weekend too. I hope it stays this way.

Are those tulips, I love love tulips. I hope that I can plant and grow them in Idaho.
I really need to get on that whole chore reward thing too with Cole. Any suggestions?

i can only do a list with her once a week and i have to space them out through out the morning or she gets frustrated and you save the one they love for the very last... and i have figured out that she does better with a 'grab bag' then money... for now. ha.

Good ol chores. Those were definately the worst things ever back in the day. But then you grow up and they are never ending. I wish I could have a chore list now and get rewards for finishing the list. Haha! That would be great wouldn't it?!?!

I remember my list of chores each day, man I hated coming home. But those chores seem very do-able (okay that word looks totally wrong). At least I know youre not my friend for my spelling:)

P.s. Thanx for your kind words you truly are a builder

Send her over! Taj loves to water plants too, and bugs, and sidewalks, and chairs, and his clothes. I think he just likes getting things wet. I know we're just about to job age, so I appreciate the ideas on how to go about it. As for girls making you nervous I've decided that no parent is going to get off easily. Yikes. Good luck to you sir.
