getting ready for bed the other night i decided to get some pictures of him reading his books. we do tub, pjs, books, songs and then a 'snack'... but i just love that he is into his books and holding them now. paka... this next picture is for you....
for the last week merrick hasn't been sleeping that well. he was waking up almost every hour... not wanting to eat in the morning before i head off to work... it was hard... i was sleeping like 3-4 hours a night and working 8-9 hours... i was crabby, tired and had a headache all week!
so we figured that maybe he was going through a growth spurt and thought that he just needed to eat more during the day. so yesterday he ate three jars of food plus three 5 oz bottles and nursed twice... he went to bed at 8pm and slept til 8am only waking up once. and it was also the first night that i didn't bundle him. 
so he got to sleep... i got to sleep... kasey got to sleep... we were all happy!
this is what he look liked come 6pm all week... i'm so happy that he got to sleep... he has been one happy kid all day today and i know why.

love the sleepy eyes in the last picture! he is too cute, we have to come this fall. i might die if i don't get to meet him soon.
I'm so glad you figured that one out- the no sleep issue makes everything worse. Hooray for full tummy's!
What an oinker! Man no sleep sucks! Those little guys can take it out of you & you just want to punch all the people you work with that had a good nights sleep, huh? I remember feeling that way plenty.
What's up girl? It's been a little while:) I just caught up though looking through your blog. What a cute little boy you've got! It's fun to see pics of you and Betsy together too...brings back some memories for me:) Also, glad to know you got a little sleep!
